Caviar has created a custom iPhone 17 Pro Max featuring an integrated dosimeter watch. A fully functional measuring module with a Geiger-Müller counter is built into the central section of the case, allowing it to detect gamma radiation. The smartphone’s design draws inspiration from professional measuring instruments and radiation monitoring equipment.
The centerpiece of the Geiger model is the SIG-RM1208 dosimeter watch. Caviar integrated the device directly into the back panel of the iPhone 17 Pro Max, transforming a technical instrument into the visual focal point of the custom design.
The watch is equipped with a Geiger-Müller counter and can monitor gamma radiation levels. Measurements are displayed on a digital screen, while the device can issue an alert when a preset radiation threshold is reached. The analog watch function is powered by a Swiss Ronda 763 quartz movement.
The architecture of the Geiger case continues the character of the measuring instrument itself. Solid metal panels, geometric edges, exposed screws, and contrasting black elements create the appearance of high-precision industrial equipment.
Red indicator lines run along the central axis of the case, echoing the warning markings found on technical systems. A raised radiation hazard symbol is positioned in the lower section, completing the composition and immediately revealing the purpose of the integrated device.
The Geiger concept explores humanity’s ability to measure invisible processes in the surrounding world. Radiation exists beyond direct human perception, while the Geiger counter translates it into numbers and signals.
